AEROPRESS
14-17 grams of Grounded Coffee
210 grams of boiled water
5 minutes of Total Brew Time
STEP 1: Prepare the AeroPress - Preheat the brewer and rinse the filter paper in the basket with hot water.
STEP 2: Add Coffee - Attach the basket to the bottom of the brew chamber and place on top of the cup.
STEP 3: Pour Water - Start the timer as you pour the water to "4". Stir it gently for a minute.
STEP 4: Place the Plunger and Wait - Allow another 1 minute of brewing before you plunge
STEP 5: Ready to Plunge - Plunge all the way down by applying pressure till you hear a hissing sound and your coffee is ready!
FRENCH PRESS (17 oz)
30 grams of Grounded Coffee
350 grams of boiled water
7 minutes of Total Brew Time
STEP 1: Warm the Press - Rinse the press with hot water. It helps to maintain the temperature while brewing for best extraction.
STEP 2: Add Water - Add the coffee and start the timer when pour in the water till mid level of the press. Make sure there is no dry spot.
STEP 3: Stir and Add More Water - After 1 minute, stir gently. Add more water all the way to the top of the press and brew for 3 minutes.
STEP 4: Press - At 4 minutes, push the press all the way down.When you’ve finished pressing, serve the coffee immediately.
MOKA POT
25 grams of Grounded Coffee
Approx. 4 minutes of Total Brew Time
STEP 1: Fill the bottom half of the Moka Pot and boil the water on the stove on high heat.
STEP 2: Fill the pot's filter basket with grounded coffee and even it. Place it onto the bottom compartment.
STEP 3: Screw the Moka pot's sprouted top.
STEP 4: Place the Moka pot on the stove to medium heat and allow it to brew.
STEP 5: When the water in the bottom chamber boils, the pressure will push a stream of coffee to the top chamber giving a hissing and bubbling sound when it's done.
DRIP COFFEE
20 grams of Grounded Coffee
300 grams of boiled water
4 minutes of Total Brew Time
STEP 1: Pre-wet the the filter and place it in the dripper. Place the dripper onto of the cup
STEP 2: Place it on the scale. Add coffee and tare the weight. Start the timer and pour 30g of hot water to allow it to bloom for 30 seconds. (Note: Pour in the water starting at the outer rim and moving in a steady spiral toward the center of the grounds.)
STEP 3: Pour another 100 grams of water (for a total of 130g) and let it drip till 1:15 seconds.
STEP 4: Pour another 100 grams of water (for a total of 230g) and let it drip till 2:00 seconds.
STEP 5: Pour another 70 grams of water (for a total of 300g) and let it drip till 3:30 seconds.
